Community Health Needs Assessment Identifies Community Benefit Priorities for 2020-2023

John Muir Health is required to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. Though mandated, we value the opportunity to receive input from elected and public officials, experts in public health as well as members of our community – including those who represent underserved populations.

John Muir Health will focus its 2020-2022 community benefit programming in the following areas:

  • Access to care, including primary and specialty care
  • Behavioral and mental health services
  • Economic security, to include:
    • Housing
    • Food
    • Community and family safety

We look forward to developing new relationships and to continuing to collaborate with our community as we develop strategies to address priority health needs.
