Fun Fact: I recently have taken up pottery, it is so fun to get out of your head and play with the clay! I hope to learn how to make custom tile for my house.

Teaching Philosophy: Encourage learners to develop the tools to find the answers and through this create the confidence that they can face any challenge. This is best accomplished by jumping in the deep end... If they start to sink then I'm there to help fish them out, but once they catch their breath and can determine how to avoid what went wrong, then back in they go!
Fun Fact: Outside of the hospital, I’m either out on the baseball field coaching my kids, playing the guitar or cooking. Our family has always made good food and music an important part of our lives, and I’ve passed this along to my kids with all three playing an instrument (trumpet, trombone and euphonium) and learning how to make some of my best recipes.

I focus on modeling professional accountability and, after establishing a positive and safe learning environment, I aim to put the resident at the forefront of patient care by setting goals that will allow early independence on our critical care rotations
Fun Fact: My ultimate retirement dream is moving to Florence Italy and becoming a winemaker

By facilitating didactic learning and its applications in the real-world setting, the ultimate goal is to develop well-rounded practitioners who can serve as leaders in their field

I believe the best way to learn is in an environment that encourages questions and mutual feedback.  I also believe in the importance of integrating the learner into the role of an Oncology Pharmacist as a whole. 
Fun Fact: My family and I went to Ecuador over New Years 2023. We hiked through the Andes and went to the Galapagos islands.
