We provide better care for our patients when we can bring our whole self to work. John Muir Health has resources for our employees from diverse backgrounds to connect, and actively participate in changes that would improve the care experience and health outcomes of our diverse patients and communities. Led by employees and providers, our employee resource groups enable us to listen to our employees, and work collaboratively to improve the experience of all our employees and patients.

Located in Contra Costa County, John Muir Health has always been an anchor healthcare organization in the county serving a diverse patient population in 2022.

As a non-profit health-system, community benefits is an anchor of our work. Our Community Health Improvement program is tasked with conducting a community health needs program every three years and use the results to create direct programs and partnerships with our community partners to meet community needs.
