Maternal Fetal Medicine Team

Our maternal-fetal medicine team offers highly specialized, comprehensive and compassionate care for expecting mothers with high-risk pregnancies. Your pregnancy may be considered high risk for various reasons related to your health, your baby's health or both.

High Risk Pregnancies May Include:

  • Carrying twins or greater multiples
  • Maternal heart disease or hypertension
  • Gestational diabetes
  • Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS)
  • Any type of fetal anomaly and other pregnancy complications
  • Pregnancy in women with neurologic, immunologic, gastrointestinal or genitourinary disorders

For Physicians – How to Refer

  • For consult services, fax the referral form to (415) 502-4616: for Prenatal Diagnostic Services (including ultrasound and genetic Counseling) fax the referral form to: (415) 353-4077
  • Include insurance authorization, if required
  • Copy of insurance card, front and back
  • Any relevant notes, test results and imaging
  • Patient’s daytime contact information
