Our Spiritual Support Services rely in part on generous donations of time, talent, and financial support from individuals, groups, and institutions.
The John Muir Health Foundation has established two funds that provide support for the spiritual care services program.
The Pastoral Care Fund is a general fund that is used for a variety of purposes, such as providing bilingual materials and honorariums for the guest lecturers for our community education events.
The Father Carl B. Gracely Endowment was established to support our Clinical Pastoral Training Programs in a variety of ways, including providing student stipends.
If you are interested in supporting these services with a financial gift, you may direct your donation to the John Muir Health Foundation (you may specify the fund of your choice).
Clergy and other faith group sponsored and trained pastoral care visitors are encouraged to inquire about becoming registered partners with Pastoral Care Services. Clergy may register as Clergy Visitors who visit their own constituents or Associate Chaplains who provide multi-faith coverage with regular assigned hours or on-call. Other sponsored and trained visitors may apply to register for either congregational or faith-group visiting.
